Made in Germany. These are genuinely waterproof bags. The seams are welded not stitched. Roll-down "canoe" closures. Ortlieb's own materials, tough synthetics with very heavy-duty waterproofing layers on the inside. QL-1 locking hooks at the top and a rigid catch onto the rack at the bottom. The strap which secures the roll down top can be used as a shoulder strap. One large main compartment with no external pockets. The top locking hooks release from the rack when you pull up on the handle to lift the bags off making them very quick to fit and remove. Lifetime guarantee.
